Well Pepper has finally joined us. A long day but he did really well in the car on the four hour journey home, slept most of the way. He’s been a bundle of energy since and has finally decided to sleep. Photos tomorrow as in too exhausted now!
He did sleep eventually! I slept on the sofa next to him and he finally settled down about 12:30. I took him out at 2:30 and 4:30 and then we got up at 6:45. So all in all, not a bad first night.
Seems as though he’s too keen to explore today, is reluctant to sleep and has become less of a fan of his crate!
Ahhhh @Nick19 he is too gorgeous but he has a mischievious look in his eyes...I think he is going to have quite the sense of humour. It is time to change your signature on your profile!!!
What an angel! But I'm wondering if that is your current sentiment @Nick19 ? We are not long out of the tiny puppy stage so the memories are still clear...so many ups and downs . Good luck!
He slept very well last night, OH had to wake him up to take him out at 1am, 3am and 5am to do his business. This morning he’s full of beans and did some zoomed in the garden. Now he’s having a snooze - phew! He’s a confident little young man, not phased by the hoover or washing machine which he met this morning. Only one little accident and that’s because we weren’t quick enough to get him outside. He’s taken to trying to jump on the sofa, launching himself at it, so we need to work on that today.
He looks so angelic but definitely has some devil within him! And I’m already covered in scratches. It’s so funny though to see him grow in confidence now he’s in his new home.
