Yes she is in the daily record for it and everything thinks it' the biggest litter for Labradors in Scotland. All from the one dog.

Phone your vet and he will tell you what to get them and even have some in stock, you certainly need help and advice with that many pups.

Nah they aren't all feeding was just thinking of giving the mum a rest 2 hours a day by giving the pups goat milk and bread I got told to use that but wanted to check with other people first

It HAS to be puppy milk, ideally with colostrum in it at such a young age. You really do need to speak to your vet ASAP.

I agree, this is a matter for your Vet , for advice and support , its far too easy to inadvertently do the wrong thing and cause harm, which would be awful ,

Your bitch won't be able to feed all of those puppies, so yes you will need to supplement. Talk to your vet; they will tell you the best food for ten-day-old puppies. Good luck!!!

congratulations! Ive just seen the news story on your puppies - and all 17 of them are adorable!!!!
When my puppy was birn, the mom got sick (milk fever?) and rejected the litter after 3 days. Our breeder fed them by ottle with milk formula - same idea as formula for babies. You mix the milk and bottle feed. Id check with your vet if this is an option and to suggest a brand or what to look for.

    Good luck!

Wow. Just read the news story. I’d be concerned that the mum is getting enough nutrition - are you getting help with feeding her the best food possible? I’ve seen advice for feeding lactating mums so I do believe there’s more to it than normal nutrition. Good luck!!

Just want to say good luck with your huge litter. Hard work, but worth it.

Syringe feeding might be better if they are not so efficient at suckling - some pups struggle a bit with a teat. Just worth considering if needed.

A friend's Flattie had 13 pups earlier this year. They had a schedule for feeding every 4 hours until the introduction of solids so until around 4 weeks of age to ensure that all the pups thrived. Even with the help mum was still really tired with 13 pups to tend to. They eventually kept 2 of the pups instead of one and both are now happily progressing in their training.
