Hi I have a 3 month old lab called Wilson which i've had since he was 8 weeks old. This is my first time dog (apart from looking after friends dogs). I never really had the time to give to a dog and now that my children are growing up and doing less. I now have the time, love and attention a dog needs.
Welcome @Wilson's Mum from me, Hattie 10 years and my rescue boy Charlie 7 years. I hope you enjoy having the time to spend with Wilson who is gorgeous. xx
Welcome. The forum is great and I’ve found so much useful info since picking up 3 year old Woody last week. So, hello from me Woody and the terrible twosome at the kitties Mya and Gizmo in sunny Kent x
Hello and welcome from me and my 16 week old bundle of trouble called Pepper. You’ll find lots of valuable experiences here and a very friendly crowd.
Hi Hattie and Charlie, Wilson has been excellent and seems to picking things up really quickly (including shoes). We've been enjoying puppy training classes, although I think he would prefer to be playing with the other black lab Smudge than having to sit, lay down and stay. We've just started walking outdoors and walking to heel has gone out the window as everything so amazing and he just has to stop and watch.
Welcome to you from Mags, Tatze and Keir from Manchester UK Tatze is my pet dog, a black Lab and she's five years old. Tatze means 'paw' in German. Keir is my sixth Guide Dog puppy, a yellow Golden Retriever/Flatcoat cross and he's twelve months old.
Hi Phil and Holly, I'm loving every moment of it, even the first weeks of him waking up through the night. He's now graduated from the back garden to the delights of the outside world.
Hi Harley, Harley is beautiful girl. Wilson has settled in really well and loves loads of attention, belly rubs.
Hi Wispa and Tuppence. We've had Wilson for almost 6 weeks now. We visited mum and pups every week when they were growing up. Watching him grow and learn new things everyday is such a joy
Pepper likes any footwear! Those flip flops were his favourite and could often be found at random locations in the garden, sadly they are no longer as he started actually eating them! He’s now moved onto OH’s garden clogs!
Holly's favourite footwear is our slippers. She fetches them for us when we come home, but also likes to sneak in and steal them when we're not looking. Thankfully she's not inclined to chew them.
At the moment Wilson has a window of naughtiness when he's waiting for his food to be soaked. If he can finds a shoe of any kind, he's off, waiting for me to chase him. So far no chewing.
