I was wondering how to teach our puppy boundaries such as not keavj g our driveway to go visit UPS man across the street or leave our yard?

Teach ‘stay’. Start with small distances and time and then extend both. Plenty of excitement and treats when released. Keep practising - every day. You could also teach a ‘stop’ to the whistle.

The easiest way is with fencing :) but as @Atemas says you could start with a 'stay' building duration and a 'stop' - I actually use 'wait' which means stop/stay where you are, in whatever position you like, until I release. The 'stay' will only work if you are there to give the cue and reward although over many months it may be that a stay is offered without a cue but a reward would still be good to reinforce

No sorry @Beezette - no link. I am still doing this with Red. She will heel with me and when I blow the whistle, she immediately sits down. Eventually I want to be able to ‘stop her in her tracks’ by blowing the whistle if you see what I mean - we are working on this. I am sure if you searched you will find something, maybe on YouTube.

Search for Steve Mann on You Tube be has a nice easy method for training 'stop'. Sorry I don't have time to search and link as I need to be somewhere :)
