Hi all, In my last post, I mentioned Lucius' eye problems (we're going back to the vet for his eyesight issues, so will update on that later) and the other day i noticed something strange. I gave both dogs a frozen kong each, my other dog is an 11month old beagle who loves frozen peamutt butter! They had it frozen because it got really hot over the past few days and both dogs hate the hot weather. Anyway, when I watched lucius licking out his kong I noticed his left eye watering - it looked almost like he was crying? (I actually saw a tear go down his face ). His eyes can get a little irritated but he does have hayfever allergies (both dogs have this, Lucius tends to get sore eyes and an itchy face whereas my beagle gets itchy skin) which he is getting medicine for. Is this normal? Its not discharge (clear in colour like tears) and it went away straight after he finished his kong, it was only his left eye as well. I'm going to talk to the vet about it when we see him next, but just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences?
His eyes are fine this morning, I only noticed it while he was eating his kong. He'll be going to the vet on teusday so hopefully he can tell us what it is.
