Has anyone ever heard of these Himalayan Gold Yak Chews? There suppose to be all natural and last quite a long time. They were recommended to me from 2 friends. One has a Aussie shepherd and the other a Yorkie. The friend with the Aussie said it saved her when her dog was a pup. She sent me the link to Amazon. Are this safe??
Yes they are safe, my boy would go through a whole one in about 10-15 minutes though, granted he was about 6 or 7 months old
Pepper loved them when he was 3-4 months and they lasted about a week. He’s now got bored of them and his current one has lasted about a month. He much prefers chicken feet or pig snouts these days.
They are great although now, like Kelsey, at 7-8 months they don’t last long. They used to last quite awhile.
I've been wanting to try these, but havent found anywhere in Australia that we can buy them. Our go to chews are kangaroo tendons (15mins tops) and bully sticks (he only gets them while we eat/are busy and need him out of our hair). He liked the dried spare ribs but they disagreed with his tummy, possibly because he inhaled them!
You can order them on amazon. I’ve seen the bully sticks but wasn’t sure what they are or if their good for puppies.
Our dogs devour the yak chews in a few minutes. Rawhide rolls are our go-to chew for bored dogs. FWIW Bully Sticks are dried bull penises. They are expensive, and don't last long with our Labs.
