Today, my boy Gillis is going to Doggie Heaven. It’s hard to say goodbye. The last thing I want to be is selfish,
but do what’s best for him.
Quality of life is . 14 years of love, always giving his attention to me. It’s a tough day. I am thankful we spent most of everyday together.

So sorry - but well done for giving him the most loving and hardest gift of all.
Run free, Gillis. Time to rest.

I am sorry, it is always very painful to say goodbye to one you have loved for 14 years. However, Gillis lived his life to the full, it is us left who grieve, we have disparate years of life. He sounds as if he had the most wonderful life, spending everyday with you. x

I’m very sorry to hear your news. You must have had a wonderful life with Gillis, but it’s always hard doing the best for our pets at the end.
