I have a soon to be 13 chocolate Labrador called Beattie who everyone including vets seem to love.
She is obviously getting an old lady now but there are two things which have improved her life enormously in the last few months. Firstly hydrotherapy.
Secondly I now have to ramp her in and out of the car. It took time to train her to the ramp. I have found using a dog harness as well as her collar is really helpful. It gives me both collar and harness to grip when guiding her up or down the ramp. She is now at the stage when she is almost going up unaided. Hopefully other people might find this helpful.

Hi thirteen, welcome to the forum!

Beattie sounds lovely :) I'm sure some of our members with elderly dogs will be keen to exchange advice

Hello and welcome to you both. What a good age Beattie is and so clever to learn to use a car ramp.
