Hi all, so we picked buddy up yesterday and on the whole he wa great, seemed really happy etc, eating, going to the toilet etc, couple of small accidents in the house but more outside which is great. Slept from 9pm-3.30am and think that was just for a wee which he did outside, bit of a play then back to sleep till 6.30. My questions are 1. We are crate training him, and obviously the first couple of times he cried for maybe ten mins then fell asleep, but has been crying a bit more this morning. We are putting him in there for naps when we see he’s tired as I read that this is good routine and obviously gets him used to the crate, would you guys recommend we keep trying to do this for naps? He’d be much quieter if we just let him sleep where he drops but I want him to be used to the crate. And that brings me to the next question, if he cries say during the night, I don’t want to go into him when he’s crying but there’s a good chance he’ll need the loo? Any recommendations/suggestions would be great, thanks.... I’ll post another pic as well....
Sorry I missed this one from a few days ago - how are things going with the crating? Do you still need some help?
The crating is going really well, thank you, he sleeps through the night and goes in for each nap, and toilet is great too, had him less than a week and he just has maybe one little pee accident each day! Fingers crossed it continues
