It went great. We went to bed at 9 pm. I put him in his crate right next to my bed. He never made a peep all night. At 2:30 I got up to use the bathroom and he woke up so I took him out to potty. I put him back in his crate and he went right back to sleep.

He does love to chew but I can't find any toy he's interested in.

That's a great start :). Some puppies do find most chew toys boring. You might need to add a tiny bit of flavour. You can smear a little wet puppy food inside a puppy kong or over a rubber toy to get his interest. Or while you are holding the puppy on your lab you can let him gnaw at the end of a rawhide stick while you hold the other end (don't leave him alone with it and throw it away when it starts to come apart)

Thank you so much. I'll try that. We have a little set of steps next to the bed for our two little dogs. That is Lincoln's favorite chew toy.:D

Well done for putting him back in crate and so lucky he went back to sleep.
Have you tried kongs which you can add something like mashed banana (there is a whole list on the puppy forum) that could keep him entertained for a while so he is chewing and getting a reward. In time freezing the kongs will take longer for him to finish.

That’s lovely mine likes peanut butter too there is a certain type that contains something that they shouldn’t have.
Then you can be more adventurous with adding different fillings slowly

Hope you have another great night!

I remember buying so many different chew toys for my pup, I could have opened up my own store!

That's right. My dogs love peanut butter too, but you do need to be careful. For some reason, a few brands have started putting xylitol in peanut butter so it's important to check the label. Xylitol is a sweetener commonly found in chewing gum and very poisonous to dogs
