He had a big day today. We went to Home Depot (home & garden supply). There was a lot of activity going on. He met lots of people. There were forklifts, people pushing huge shopping carts and lots of noise. He just walked through the whole store like he lived there. We got to the lumber section which was pretty loud and crowed, he hesitated for a second but just continued on. He did a great job.
Great news Jade, buddy is 12 weeks and we’ve just started taking him out, it’s so lovely to see them taking it all in!
So happy that you have a good friend in Lincoln! Starting early with different types of experiences is really important, nice job
Good job Lincoln. Be prepared as he becomes used to it that suddenly you'll take him in and where before he was well behaved and walking nicely, he may suddenly decide that he must say hello to everyone! Our Cain did this to us and boy what a time we had.....the next time we took him, we sat outside with him as people went in and out the doors and reminded him that he doesn't approach others. After about 15 minutes, we were able to walk through with him behaving on that leash. (We do this at Flea Markets as well. Just set aside enough time to be able to start the experience with this warm up and all should go well.)
