So today, at the station I heard two young men talking. Based on their appearance and where we were I think they would be medical students or interns, but I could be wrong. One of them said to the other "I tried to get a puppy. I had a cavoodle for a week but it was too hard so i gave it back to the breeder." I was SO ANGRY. Do people not do research before getting a dog? It took us years before we decided that we were ready, then months of reading to choose a breed and breeder, then ages to prepare. No wonder there are so many unethical breeders out there! I hope that puppy ends up in a good home. What crazy dog-related things have you overheard in public?
I completely agree, we also researched and read up on breeds for a long time before we got our girls. We also waited until we were financially able to look after a lab and also give them plenty of time
