Hi. I am a first time puppy owner. My georgeous boy is now 12 1/2 weeks old and today he is allowed out for the first time. I am keen to do everything right and have read about the 5 minute rule. What I want to know is whether the time is per day or per walk. In other words can he have 2 x 15 min walks a day at 3 months or is it a total of 15 mins per day? Many thanks.

Hi and welcome from me and my pup Isla. We have kept to the five minutes rule for 1 walk a day. Our last lab had bad arthritis and back then we didn't know about the rule. It's definitely worth it if it helps avoid painful joints later.
