Hi Lola is nearly 5 mths old and she is 19.5k but she is chunky. Obviously as she exercises more over the months as it is restricted for quite some time then she will even out. She is on Hills Science Plan Puppy food for large breed and we have cut this down on the Vet's advice and when she is spayed in November then it has to be reduced again by 20% according to our Vet as Labs are prone to being obese and we have seen plenty of them. No 2 dogs are the same as you can see when you visit the site but it is great to see how others are progressing and the help you get is amazing.
Mine is 6.5 months and 26.5kg. I was worried she was over weight but the vets have just sad she is a solid girl
Oops.. sorry, got the weeks wrong. 8 weeks: 15.9lbs 12weeks:30.2lbs 16weeks:40.8lbs Now at 18 weeks she weighs around 45lbs.
A lot of variations here. Our Mia was weighed this past Saturday at 11 weeks and 2 days old and she weighed in at 17.2lbs (7.8kg). Vet said she looked great, including her weight. He projects she'll be around 80lbs (36kg) or so at adulthood (similar to her parents). She's a a full English Lab and is growing so fast. It seems as though she has doubled in height since bringing her home almost 4 weeks ago.
Update on our girl Dakota. Just had her at the vet. She weighs 52.8lbs now, at just 20 weeks. Vet said she's completly fit, and not to chubby. Just a big girl. Im getting worried at times that she is growing a bit to fast though, as I read that this can lead to a whole lot of problems later on.
Wow that's awesome. I bet she's gorgeous. Sounds like she's going to be big. I'm curious how big Lincoln is going to be. He's 19 weeks @ 30 pounds.
Thanks Jade! That she is, to us anyways maybe I worry a little to much at times. Just dont want her to get any joint, or hip problems. Her mom was just around 60lbs, but her dad was close to 100lbs. So it's hard to say. Just did one of these calculator things again..according to one web side, she will be 137.5lbs as an adult so, no real help there.
That sounds more like it. That one didn't even ask for the breed. 137.5lbs maybe, if she were a Saint Bernard.
I used others where you actually put in the breed, and this said 89lbs adult weight. But I think that's just a guesstimate.. I believe the 2lbs per week average that they seem to go by slows down at some point.. we will find out
