Beau is 7 months old and just been weighed at 16.3kgs. A very healthy all though everyone says 'small' female 'working' lab. Nice to read about another dog of similar build.
My Chewie is 18.5kg at 7 months. Still my little boy. He looks tiny compared to some of the monster puppies we see around. Not lacking in personality though!
21 weeks old, Piper is 17.75kg, Arya 18.00 kg We adopted them at 16 weeks and they were about 12kg then so they been growing steadily, their siblings were larger/males so maybe they were just really hungry but they're pretty trim.
Just got my yellow lab he’s 9 weeks old and only weighs 9lbs. I know he’s not pure bred or show stock is this a good weight. He’s going to the vet tomorrow to be checked out.
Minka is a female black lab. Her mom is 100% “American” and 45 lbs. (20 kg), so quite small. Her dad is 50/50 “American” and “English” and 100 lbs. (45 kg). Here is her weigh-in history from visits to the vet: 9 weeks, 2 days - 7.6 lbs. (3.4 kg) 9 weeks, 5 days - 9.7 lbs. (4.4 kg) 12 weeks, 2 days - 17.6 lbs. (8.0 kg) 15 weeks, 2 days - 25.7 lbs. (11.7 kg)
Daisy is a female black lab from working lines. Her mum and aunty were both very lean and short, daisy is tiny but finally seems to be putting on weight and getting visibly bigger 8.5 weeks - 2.55kg 10 w 2 days - 3.15kg 11 weeks - 3.5kg 13 weeks - 5.65kg
Monty is now 8 months old and weighs 25kg. He's a working type and seems to be all leg and muscle. He still looks teeny to me but everyone comments on how huge he is!
Hi Isla is nearly 9 months and weighs 26kg, she also looks mini to our eyes as our last girl was 33kg
I have 2 lab puppies - both male. American/worker dogs 8 weeks: 11# and 14# 12 weeks: 22# and 26# 16 weeks: 34# and 38#
Just weighed Bear in today at nearly 18 weeks old. He's 18.7kg. He doesn't look over-weight, has a good shape and can just feel ribs. Looking at some of the other weights of pups, is this too big? He's very active with 2 walks and 3 meals a day. Dad was a chunky black gamekeepers lab, Mum was a tall red. Am I worrying unnecessarily? Do not want a fat lab as know the problems they can get. Can anyone put my mind at rest please
Hi, First-time doggy-dad here. Discovered this forum a couple of hours ago. My Zorro boy (Black Lab in the picture) is 10 n a half weeks old and weighs 8.4 kgs. Have been a litle worried for sometime that he is underweight - not anymore though, after reading posts in this forum. That said, i still dont know whether Zorro is big/small/typically average for his age. Would love to hear from you folks about what you think about the same, and any muses on the most likely growth curves that i should be expecting for Zorro?
Took Daisy to vets 8 weeks last night, got weighed at 8.89kg. Just hope I’m feeding her enough as she is so hungry.
Your Chewie looks a lot like my Buddy in your profile picture. Do you have any other pictures? Buddy was weighed yesterday and he was 34 pounds and he's almost 22 weeks old. He's half American lab and half English lab.
This is Chewie with a spiderweb on his muzzle because he is very nosey and likes looking through fences! He is from show lines. I think he has a chunkier head than Buddy, but they are both cuties!
