Hi I need advice please, Isla is 9 months old now and has always been fed James wellbeloved dry kibble which she has thrived on up until now.

In the last 3 weeks she has had terrible smelly wind, it really is foul and I've read that this is caused by food fermenting in her gut. I don't know if I should venture into the baffling market of different kibbles or add yoghurt to her usual one.

I really don't want to upset her digestion as her coat is good and she had healthy stools but am worried she is uncomfortable or feels poorly with this problem.

Any advice and help appreciated please

Canine probiotics and Digestive enzymes could help with the gas and tummy rumbling.

My two eat Skinner's Duck & Rice, and they both also have a cheap wet food (Winalot for Coco & Cesar for Meg). They both have the occasional and sometimes frequent hilarious, noisy wind but it rarely smells. I don't hear bowel rumbling.

Thankyou @Jade and @edzbird for your reply I've read that probiotic live yoghurt may help as well so I'll try this first. Isla is having bouts of this every day, mainly in the evening, no noise just terrible smells, bless her. If this doesn't work I'll try probiotics and food change maybe

Be careful with dairy products as they can upset their stomach but our spaniel always had the yogurt pot to lick and she never had any problems.
    Good luck with the food.
