Do you give your dog a Christmas stocking?

My family and I have very split opinions on stockings for pets. I'm all for it, but I can see why it might actually be a bit barmy...!

I was tempted to make one for our bearded dragon this year, but i'm pretty sure locusts wouldn't stay put inside a sock

 

Haha, we've always given our dogs stockings! Barmy or not,they love opening their presents with us as we open ours. Great fun is had by all!

 

Yay! I knew I wasn't alone in being overly pampering Although I might draw the line with my guinea pigs....

 

Errrrrrr... OF COURSE dogs should get stockings too! What kind of monster doesn't give their pets Christmas presents?? Not on my watch.

If anyone has any good ideas for stocking stuffers or homemade Christmas dog treats I'd love to hear those!

 

Yes!!! She's part of the family! I do a stocking, and her 'grandparents' do one for her too!

I froze them, and will defrost to make little baggies for stockings and dog friends the day before gifting.

 

It will be our first Christmas with our Bud and he will be getting a stocking. No shame in our game.

Yay! Stockings fully justified now in my house. I wonder if it would be too over the top to crochet the pets' stockings myself....

They look tasty enough for me to be tempted to eat one too.... lol
