    Hi,

Wanting a bit of advice my 9 week old black lab Oreo will not settle in his cage at night, have tried having a ticking clock at the side of his cage, radio on, little lamp on...ang sugestions as he will not settle no longer than an hour and wangs to play. We have tried tiring him out through the day with playing so he is sleepy but nothing seems to work at the minute. Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks Gemma

    Hi @Gemma&Oreo

Not sure from your description whether you have fully crate trained your puppy. Please consult

If you have done all the steps you might consider putting the crate in your bedroom so that she is aware that you're still there. By all means when she settles and is no longer anxious you can relocate the crate.

    Hi,
Tried all the steps to puppy crate training. We actually moved the cage upstairs to our room last night and he settled much better I woke him up a few times in the night to go out for a wee and he only whined a small amount when I put him back in. As soon as he whined me or my partner either coughed or started speaking to let him know we was still there. He slept so much better and awoke at half 6 by playing with his toys in the cage. Brilliant first night just hope this works Thank you
