My 4 month old puppy has had loose stools since we brought him home at 10 weeks. He has been tested twice for parasites (clear), been on antibiotics and probiotics (helped temporarily but back to loose). First he was on Wellness complete puppy chicken and oatmeal, I switched him to Blue Buffalo puppy lamb and oatmeal 3 weeks ago, which showed some improvement but still loose. Should I give this food more time or switch again? Any recs? He will have a somewhat formed stool and then continue straining and come out very watery. He is about 32 lbs and growing well, very happy but does have itchy flaky skin.

Sorry your pup is having trouble. Switching foods can sometimes have this effect. It could be something is not agreeing with him. You could try a limited ingredient diet and see if that helps.
I feed Only Natural Pet Power Food . It's awesome. It has limited ingredients.. All of my dogs have solid stool with it. I buy it on www.onlynaturalpets.com
    or www.chewy.com

Switching foods can result in loose stools. But after 3 weeks such a problem should have resolved itself.so the answer must lie elsewhere.

How much food are you feeding your dog. Is he the correct weight?

Are you feeding too much at one time my puppy gets loose stools every time I up her feeds.
Try giving a little less to see if this is the problem.
Don't keep changing the food research a good brand and stick with it.

I think we need more information to help. What exact antibiotics has he been on, and how many days for each dose?

Has he had any Panacur/Safeguard (brand names for fenbendazole)?

How many times a day are you feeding and how much at each meal?
