Hi there, I have a 4.5 month old chocolate Lab and he is (of course) beautiful but I feel his eye colour is a bit weird? I know it should be dark brown or hazel, and both his mum and dad had dark eyes but his are almost beige? Very light coloured hazel...any body else got this? Will it change later perhaps?
Our 3 chocolate pups eyes changed from blue/hazel to carmel colored. The caramel colored eyes are the only color I have experienced. There are 2 other Chocolates in our neighborhood that have the caramel colored eyes.
Our boy had really DARK eyes when he was small. But since he's grown, come home and such, they're more of a light golden colour (which I find absolutely beautiful!)
