hi does anyone have any good alternatives to self cooling mats. My black lab who is 17 weeks is crated during the day whilst I’m at work. He has a dog walker at lunchtime so not left all day but he gets warm. I’ve recently tried a self cooling mat but it lasted a single morning, he chewed it to pieces. He does not chew normally and is quite happy in his crate so not due to stress. He also has other toys in there so not bored either. I need an alternative to help him stay cool. Thanks. L.
Hi my pup did the same, how about a wet towel laid in his crate or one of the cool dog jackets for him to wear maybe? We also have a frozen dog toy that slowly melts for our to chew on to help keep her cool (under supervision)
