    Hi,

Not sure if there’s already any advice for this but any help would be appreciated!

I adopted a 6 month old yellow lab two weeks ago, who was being fed Bakers adult food since his first owners bought him, so I started introducing Pedigree puppy food and since he’s started it, his BM are formed at first but when I try to pick it up, it loses its form and shape. He is still going 2-3 times a day, this hasn’t change it’s just the consistency isn’t right at all. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations for food?

    TIA

Hi there and welcome to the forum!

Lots of dogs have unsettled stomaches when you change their food over, but if you are worried then your vet will be happy to advice you on whether it's a cause for concern. Did you swap over straight away or mix the foods together for a few days first? He's also not been with you very long yet, so it could still be just due to settling in nerves.

You can find lots of information puppy feeding here, which I hope you will find helpful: https://www.thelabradorsite.com/feeding-your-labrador-puppy/

Let us know how he gets along!

The only thing that has worked for mine is splitting it up to 3 xs a day (she is 10 months and it still is only thing that keeps her solid)
