My lab max is on prednisone and is throwing up and won’t eat he’s wasting away wish there was something I could do for him!
Do talk to your vet. They may be able to prescribe something to settle your dog's stomach or give you an alternative to prednisone. I know someone else whose dog reacted like this to prednisone and for them there was an alternative immuno-suppressant available. But really your vet is the one to advise you. I hope you can get your poor boy feeling better soon.
Prednisone usually makes you hungry, so I would be concerned something else is going on. I agree with @Joy and have a chat to your vet. I hope he is feeling better soon.
That sounds miserable. Poor Max. Vomiting can be a side effect but usually appetite is increased. Maybe the dose is too high? What have they been prescribe for?
