Labrador frozen shoulder

    My 3yrold lab diagnosed with frozen shoulder had steroid injection but is back limping again. Can anyone suggest what to do next. Thank you

    I think we probably need a bit more information - like when it started, how it's progressed, what the symptoms are, what the vet has tried besides steroid injections, any history of joint pain and much more besides. But really, your vet is the place to go to discuss what to do next, although you could feed back some ideas from here to discuss with him or her...

    How did the vet diagnose the frozen shoulder? My 4 year old lab has had a limp now since Feb and is going for a scan Friday at the expense of 2k!!

    Sorry sue for the late reply but the vet did an x-ray and the reason I choose this vet is because he is a orthopedic specialist. The steroid injection worked for about one day and then back limping again. Now we are trying steroid tablets first week 2 second week 1aday and this final week is half a tablet which finishes on Monday 25th. My lab is still limping so it will be planb whatever that's going to be. Your dog must be having a MRI scan at that cost. Hope they find what is wrong. Will keep you updated. Thank you
