We’re int a second bout of diarrhoea in 2 weeks. The vet said to limit food to plain rice and chicken for a few days and use pro kalin twice a day. It cleared up after a week but he’s got it again. Any advice? He’s still full of energy and eating (rice) and drinking.

We had exactly the same issue at around 14 weeks. Our vet put our puppy on Pro Plan Gastrointestinal wet food and Pro Kalin twice a day.

Thank you, we’ll see how he is over the weekend and I’ll speak to the vet if he’s no better.

Luna had this when she was 5 months. The vet said that it could be the puppy food that is too rich for her and advised moving onto adult. We used this as an opportunity to switch from kibble to raw and she has been fine ever since.

I normally use half my pupper's food for training. If any of you have moved to a temporary rice and chicken diet, how did you manage food reward training? No surprises, my little one is highly food motivated. Would love to hear your views. Trying to think of different ideas for Kongs, etc.
