HI. It seems my lab has callouses on his elbows.. They do not seem to bother him.... but I worry. He can sleep anywhere, but usually lands on the floor.. I have read the previous posts.. Is there anything that can help the elbows??? I am putting a dog balm on them... just started. Has anyone had success with a product or something to protect the elbows? Thanks

Seems normal to me. We have never done anything to them.

Hi Monica, we have the same with our 9 year old and I also pop dog balm on them also to keep them smoother and softer, I find that when they get hard our dog tends to constantly lick them too often and can cause the skin to spit. When this has happened we tend to use Pet Munkka Honey prior to his walk so its absorbed before he has the chance to lick this off which seems to do the job.
