Hi. My name is Liz and I do not have a labrador, but I do have a Sprollie who needs some distance training. I love Pippa's methods. Luna is already whistle trained for recall ( I followed "Total Recall"), but I would like to add a stop and down at a distance.
A Sprollie is a Springer cross collie. Luna's mum was a lovely Springer dumped pregnant in rescue in Ireland. They were fostered until the litter was 8 weeks, then I got Luna... Sprollies have all the good ( and bad) characterisitcs of both breeds. Luna does Obedience and Aguility, plus we dabble in scent work. Her favourite thing is to run flat out over rough ground and climb almost vertical rock faces on the low cliffs near where we walk...
