As the the title states - our 4 year old lab howls (LOUDLY) in his sleep. Sometimes 2-3 times throughout the nite. The howling resembles like when he howls at a siren from a fire truck. (This could be maybe what he is hearing in the far distance - that we humans can’t hear.). The main issue is an obvious one - we can’t get any goodnite’s sleep anymore. We have already tried the vet and have not gotten a remedy. Anyone with same issue or suggestions on how to manage this? Thank you!
Is he doing it in his sleep when dreaming or waking up and doing it?If the latter you could try leaving a radio on(maybe classical music) at low volume in the room to block out any sounds that might be disturbing him.
