I found this wonderful site and was going thru what a lot of other owners have gone thru. Me and my daisy took a nap today and I got a cup of coffee, when I went to see why she didn’t get up, she had passed. 10 year old girl and she was happy I was off work type of morning. She got the last bit of my cereal and milk before we napped. I just read about labs having a blood clot. So sad. I’m devastated. She got alot of love and belly rubs! I was hoping for a few more years.

    Hi Daisy's dad,

Welcome to the forum, I'm so sorry for your loss. Whatever age we lose our dogs, it never feels like we had long enough with them. But I think if I could write an 'ideal' ending, without any pain or loss of dignity, I couldn't come up with anything better than Daisy had - she was lucky to spend her life with you.

    Best wishes, Sarah.

So sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our lab/collie rescue a couple days ago at only 8 from metastatic sarcoma. It is so hard to lose your best friend!
