    Hello,
my brown lab is three years old. 10 month ago we went threw a joint X-ray with good results.
Now to the problem. One month ago he started limping on the right back leg. The limping comes and goes and he doesn’t seems to have any pain. Especially we notice it if he been laying down for a while. Please find attached video and if anyone has any experience or knowledge about this please reply.

Hi, my lab displayed very similar limping and getting up behaviour as yours. He was diagnosed with a partial rupture of his cranial cruciate ligament. Like yours he hid his pain well and just wasn't putting the paw down, didn't seem to be too bothered.

I brought him to the vet and he pretty much diagnosed it straightaway. My lab required surgery to fix his stifle (TTA or TPLO). He's now 14 weeks post op and doing okay. It's a slow recovery with a careful rehab. The op has a high success rate and once the stifle is stabilised no more damage can be done.

His hips are normal in x rays just like yours. Please just bring your dog to the vet and get a professional opinion. Don't leave it longer. If the limping persists for more than a month your dog needs a vet. The very best of luck.

Please go back to the vets. He looks like he is suffering.
