    Hello All

My five-year old Lab has always suffered from poor digestion and putting/keeping weight on - he is on Purina HA hypoallergenic food, and is possibly the skinniest Lab you could meet. The vet has mentioned in the past that he may have IBS or similar digestive problem which can really only be controlled through diet. The trouble is that because he has such a sensitive digestion system, he is very prone to get sick, and not from eating dead animals etc., but from grass which he eats plenty of. He has been very, very sick over the past few days, although the vet didn't seem concerned, and we are having to get up twice in the night to take him out. Unsurprisingly, my husband and I have decided we need to take action.
I have a couple of questions really for anyone who also has a Lab with similar problems. Firstly, are there any supplements I could use to help? I use Purina Fortiflora at the moment, but there may be something better. Secondly, I am thinking of using a muzzle to prevent him eating so much of the offending grass. I did buy one before but my family and I were so shocked by it - Rhubarb is a very gentle looking Lab, and it made him look scary - that I sent it back. I am now reconsidering. Is there a muzzle that you all would recommend in particular?
Thank you all so much for any help/advice you can give me on this.
