    Hi, looking for some advice!
My lab found a box of chips on our walk 2 nights ago and proceeded to inhale as much as he could before I got them off him. He threw up that night, didn't bring much food up but reached a few more times overnight.
Next day he was absolutely fine, running about as normal and eating/pooping fine.
Last night we had the same again, he didn't bring up food just vomited a bit of liquid and retched a bit but seems totally fine today.
I'm now thinking he might have swallowed a wooden chip that he's trying to bring up but it's anyone's guess!
He's definitely not got a blockage, but I'm unsure whether to wait and see if he brings it up or take him to the vets straight away

Hi there and welcome :) We're thrilled to have you here, but I'm afraid no one can give you proper medical advice through an online forum. Call your vet and explain the situation - they will be able to tell you if he needs to go into the clinic for a physical examination. Good luck, and let us know how you get on!

I'd get him checked just in case. I was at the vet with my puppy a few months ago for the same thing - throwing up at night for a couple of days. I was afraid he ate something that caused a (partial) blockage but that was not the case. Took a stool sample to the vet and it turned out he had giardia.

    Hello!
I would take you to the vet just in case, you never know, you’ll sleep peacefully)
but I’m restless by nature and if something happens, we go straight to the vet.
I hope the lab is healthy
