Re: Waiting and watching Glad he's feeling better. Molly had a similar thing, must be a couple of months ago now. I was really worried and the vet thought she could feel an obstruction so she had a scan. Thankfully nothing showed and she recovered in 24 hours, so it must just have been a bug. Fingers crossed it's as simple for Edsel. Just to add that because Molly had a whole spate of stomach upsets I've been giving her Yumpro tablets, a probiotic. May be worth trying?
Re: Waiting and watching Hi Lori, Oh, that is no fun. I really think labs are part goat....our previous chocolate (Hailey who passed away at 14 this past Feb.) loved eating my daughter's socks when they both were little. Watching those exit was quite the experience. When she swallowed one of my husband's the vet said to give her a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. Out came the sock and a bunch of other things. She did eventually seem to outgrow her taste for socks as she got older so luck for me she never had an obstruction. My friend did have to have surgery for her dog when she came home and found out the dog went into the laundry and ate her bra.....they could see the underwire on the xray! biorus
Re: Waiting and watching Well Edsel seems to be back to his old self! ;D ;D No vomiting for almost 48 hours now and a few good poos! Though I still haven't observed any specific offending object. Of course, I had to snatch a small piece of window screen he found somewhere this morning and was happily chewing on. He's gonna wear me out! Lori
