Re: Wrong, just plain and simply wrong No I'd have a real panda though. We have a big bamboo for food ans ive suggested it but nobody will let me get one. :
Re: Wrong, just plain and simply wrong I'd only care if the pups were harmed or the dye was bad for them. If not, I think they look super cute and it's a great marketing idea for this guy's business. It's by far not the worse thing I've seen done to dogs. In fact, I bet the dogs don't give two hoots and just like the extra attention.
Re: Wrong, just plain and simply wrong The worry is who is buying dogs like these! Buying them for what they look like and not what they are? Wanting them as some kind of status symbol, a soft, cuddly toy?! So I agree with MadMud, it is wrong
Re: Wrong, just plain and simply wrong I don't think it's any worse that prepping a dog for show, as long as the technique used was not distressing or painful. But I agree that it only encourages the 'impulse purchase' that is never a good thing....
Re: Wrong, just plain and simply wrong I reckon lots of people buy puppies because they are cute, cuddly and lovable. That's why I bought mine. It's just marketing - who knows whether it increased sales or was just a publicity stunt? Maybe this was just a bit of fun with some black and white paint. And that's all.
