I took Sam to a local field this morning , first time in a few days , I always check first before letting him off lead to make sure there is no livestock , none this morning and surprisingly, no other dogs either . The approach is via a narrow lane leading to a stream, style and field , so as we get to the stream, off went his lead , he went through the water under the style and bounced into the field . It was at this point that I realised that the farmer had been muck spreading : : Too late, Sam was in full enjoyment mode , running through it with a look of pure joy on his face , I hadnt the heart to recall him, so in I went for a circuit or two . I tried to wash the worst off him in the stream on the way out but water levels are very low now so a very stinky pair came home , him plastered in sheep poo , straight to the garden for a sponge down but he is still smelling a bit on the high side
Re: Stinky boy ! LOL, they are delightful, aren't they? The more stomach-turning the better - that's a Labrador's life code
Re: Stinky boy ! jasper as started doing that, every day he needs to be washed down, i bought a nice smelling deodarant from the pet store, expensive,i dont put it on to often, he smells like a baby when i put it on and brush him
