Sam doesnt bark , well so rarely that I reckon he has maybe barked six times in three years . Millie isnt a yappy terrier but will bark when someone comes to the door , this afternoon a visitor came , she barked and blow me , for the first time ever, Sam barked too It was such a shock that we both laughed , then Sam turned round , saw us smiling and laughing and looked so embarrassed at his outburst , I think it shocked him as much as it did us
Re: Oh Sam ! Daisy startled me last night at puppy class when a true, deep-throated, grownup bark came out of her. I think she was equally startled because all the rest of her noises sounded more like the puppy she still is! Do dogs go through voice-breakings the way adolescent boys do??
