Lottie our 9 month old decided to wolf down a load of grass in the garden today. A few minutes later she was sick.
The only thing we know she has eaten which was different was a bone yesterday and she chewed a tennis ball from a dog toy.
She is in season so not been anywhere new either
She doesn't seem to be unwell either
Is there anything to worry about?

It doesn't sound like anything to worry about, if by 'a load of grass' you mean a handful :)

The occasional vomit is generally not a worry as long as the pup/dog is appearing otherwise well and still has a good appetite. But if she vomits again and you are worried then it might be best to take her to the vet. You could check out this article that Pippa wrote which gives guidance on when to take your puppy to the vet: When to call the vet about your Labrador puppy

All waggy tails when we got up, very playful. She's sleeping now but she has been doing that this week so not any difference.
Will keep a close eye on her today
Probably less than a handful and did seem to be some bone in the vomit.
No loose poo and has had a wee

This is just my personal experience, so dont take it as gospel, but I have noticed with my dogs that when they have eaten a bone and cannot digest all the parts, they sometimes eat grass - this then makes them vomit and so clears out the undigested bits of bone.

Lady (3 year old) and all her pals graze on grass all the time. Once in a while she over does it and is sick but normally no adverse effects.

    Re: Eating grass

I think my lot are part Cow, as they seem to always be eating grass, especially the nice sweet spring grass at this time of year. They are very rarely sick because of it though (although Klingons on the Starboard Bow can be a problem ;) )

I have found most of my girls have been sick occasionally when they have been in season though. I think because they are lick, lick, licking themselves and ingesting stuff they don't usually ingest, this sometimes comes back up again. So maybe your girl felt a bit icky and so ate loads of grass to make sure she bought up whatever was in her tum and causing the problem.

Its grass eating season for us too.
Usually no consequences other than the odd grass/poo removal from the butt end ::)
Lilly has only been really badly sick the once and she did a bit of grass eating then, but completely different.
