This morning I took some sausages out of the freezer for tea tonight. I accidentally left them on the draining board in the kitchen. I went to work at 9am, my daughter left at 10am and put Harley in the kitchen with her bed, chews etc as this is where my webcam is set up.
I've come home for lunch and lo and behold, the sausages are still there, bag untouched!! I don't think Harley is a normal lab!

What a good girlie , I`m not so sure that the sausages would have survived in this house ;)

Ha ha ha ,I know what you mean Ternaya.Last week I had all my kong ingredients prepared for the production line .5 bowls lined up of diced chicken, shredded roast chicken ,soaked kibble, dry kibble, chopped up sea biscuits( loads of tasty temptations) ....glass of wine poured and Dexter sat on my feet waiting for drop bits ( sometimes dropped accidentally on purpose ::)) The door went and I ended up taking a delivery and seeing a neighbour and going into their house ....so I left everything unattended for about an hour....when I got back in he was lying asleep on his bed, everything left untouched ........
He's never been a bad counter surfer but......I haven't forgotten about the whole wedge of Stilton Dexter!

Perhaps Penny and Harley have secretly traded places... Yesterday I caught her with her feet up on the kitchen side licking butter off the knife I had left out after breakfast!!

I am not going to tempt fate by telling you all that Pongo ignores our plates of dinner even when they are on the low coffee table that he can look down on.

Ah, Rosie, hate to tempt fate, but apart from a couple of minor transgressions, Lilly is the same
(please, please, please, don't think this is me being smug and punish me for my complacency :p )

Re: Harley isn't normal!!........ummmmm maybe she is!

Came home from work at 5pm, daughter has walked Harley, Harley led on her bed dozing, I went into the kitchen to put some shopping away, come out of the kitchen......no sign of Harley.....go look in the garden and there she is, munching on a packet of starburst sweets  nearly half the packet was gone! Managed to get them off her in exchange with chicken ???
Phoned the vets, they laughed....shouldn't have any side effects! Arghhhhhhhhhhh

Lola can be super greedy with food if it is on the floor but if it is on a plate, table or counter it is out of bounds and she leaves it alone. I left half a roast chicken on a plate in the middle of the room about a month back. She drooled and drooled but didn't touch a single bit. Even when I left the room. That was without me saying a word

Charlie, though only Simba's understudy, is also very disappointed in this complete failure on Harley's part. :(

    ;D ;D ;D
