This is probably a bit of a soppy post, but i just want to say how much i love my puppies Jack & Barney!! I knew what we were taking on having two labs, but was a bit apprehensive after getting litter mates and then reading so much advice against it after we had got them. I have spent the last 6 weeks at home all day with my boys as I work in a school, i thought it might get a bit much at times, but i have loved every second of it! We have played, snuggled, slept and have even done some training! They are now fully housetrained, they sleep from 10.30pm-6am and last night they spent their first night downstairs in their new giant 48" crate. They went in with no fuss, straight to sleep until 5.50am when they cried to go out. They are so loving and friendly, to each other and to us, that they just melt my heart every day. They do have odd moments of rough play that isa tad too rough, but it tends to be when they haven't had so much exercise, like when we had torrential rain all day. They are so alike, but so different and they have definitely helped to fill the huge void left when we lost our first two old labs. I'm sure i will be posting again in 6 months saying they are driving me mad lol Lou x
Re: Love my boys It's so nice to have a group like this who don't think you've lost the plot for feeling like this. Im a dog lover anyway, but my heart belongs to labs, they are just truly amazing dogs.

Re: Love my boys Welcome to my world. ;D I have two black lab brothers. Scott and Scout. They looked like Jack and Barney once. They are now three. You will all have lots of fun and occasionally feel like pulling your hair out or that your banging your head against a brick wall but there's nothing quite like being squished up on either side by a black lab at the end of the day. ;D Enjoy it. ;D
