Everywhere says reduce moistening at 3-4 months , Bailey chews the dry kibble, as treats, Ignores moistened stuff , do I wait till he's really really hungry or start on the dry! He's on 3 meals a day , with treats I between x

There is no problem with feeding dry kibble if your pup is happy to eat it - my Penny has had plain dry kibble since the day she came home at 6 weeks old (too early but that's another story!) Her whole litter were weaned straight off mum onto soaked kibble and this was gradually reduced over time until they were on dry kibble. If your pup is happy to eat it and doing well then there's no problem!

Witter witter! So sleepy yesterday and refusing usual moistened kibble ! Got up at 5 am to check! Thank The Lord I've found thus forum! I'll try not to twitterxxxx

She now has it wet as I have had to cut the amount down due to weight gain after spay and I think that she feels fuller on wetted food. Fear not - I wasn't a fussy Mum either, nor was I with all my previous dogs. Get a lab and I'm a jelly of worry!! What is it about labs???
