I am a palliative care nurse, laid back parent! Whittering labrador puppy owner! Bailey had squirting diarrhoea last night, in the dining room! Bah listless ! In bed I sleep downstairs checking his crate 2hrly with dreams of him looking like he's dying in his crate in waitrose! Perkier this am still loose stool(nowt overnight) Do I feed him chiken and rice? No meal this am? Call the vet? Thanks sorry for whinging!
Re: Squirting diarrhoea followed by loose stool in morning! Help You don't say how old Bailey is and/or wht other symptoms he has (are you listless, or Baily? ). Diaherrea in small puppies can be serious. And/or Bailey might have a bug (not necessarily though). If you re worried, call your vet and ask. They will tell you whether they think you should take him to be seen. Best of luck with the clean up.

Black stools in humans means blood, so concerning ! Of course could have been the charcoal I found chewed up outside! Thanks for all your support already! I dis ask the vet " I don't want a whinny owner sticker"

Might have helped with the odour of them though ;D ;D I would have gone with the vet too - happy puppy and loose poops = okay to watch a bit, listless puppy and really runny poop = vet. Make sure you make the chicken and rice really sloppy and well overcooked with no salt of course. Hope Bailey is on the mend - sleepless nights can affect your "laid back"-ness. jac

It's pretty bland so might be easy on her belly?
