We have been keeping a diary of wee's and poo's and was wondering if your pups are the same. (Because of hollies inverted vulva and the higher risk of infection not because we are crazy new puppy owners!!!!!) 12am-8am in bed dry 8am wee and poo 9am wee 9:15am poo 10 wee 10:30 wee 1030-12 sleep 12 wee 12:40wee 12:40-15 sleep 15 wee 15:35 poo 15:40 wee (house) 1600 wee 1620 wee (house) 1640 wee 1710 wee & poo 1845 wee 1855 wee 1910 wee 1950 poo 2000 wee 20:20 poo 20:40 wee 2100 wee 2100-2300 sleep 2300 wee 0000 wee Is this too much or about right for a nearly 12 week old? Re: How much wee??? That sounds about right. Well done for recording it. It will be really helpful for nearly puppy owners to help with their planning. I do remember at 14 weeks I noticed a huge decrease in frequency. It was like someone had flicked a switch. Up until that point we called Meg Piddlesticks ! Have fun
Re: How much wee??? Hah, she wees almost as much as I do This is really interesting, though and useful for when I get my pup. I'm a bit of a toilet weirdo, though. I pay close attention to my ferrets' poo because it's the first indication of something being amiss. I can see I'm going to be very busy going in and out. I just hope the snow stays away for a while.
Re: How much wee??? Seems about average to me! My Penny was needing to wee every 20-30 minutes when she was young before we discovered her almost continuous urine infections because of her inverted vulva. Seems like you're doing well!
