So for the first time ever Caddie who is 6 years old is going to the grooming parlour next week. She always had a beautiful sleek coat until I got her spayed and gradually she has turned into the woolly mammoth! Hopefully she won't come back looking like a shorn sheep. : If I like the new look Alice will be the next on the list for a new haircut, because she also is lumbered with the 'perm gone wrong' look after her spay. Wish us look!
Re: Groomers OOhhhh Caddie! Enjoy your pampering Alice will always look regal regardless of perm gone wrong
Re: Groomers
I think she is going to be far more speckled with a clipped coat! ;D
ohhh pretty !!!!
Re: Groomers Oh bless , I`ve noticed that Millies coat is harsh and wool like too, but no groomers for her until her eye is completely healed , I bet the girls will look absolutely fabulous
Re: Groomers How lovely for Caddie to be pampered . I love it when Hattie is clipped and groomed, her coat is so different underneath it feels like Chenille so soft to the touch How odd that some coats change texture after being spayed, I have never heard of that before. x
Re: Groomers Sadly it is very common in spaniels, Helen. Same happened to my previous two springer girls. :'( It is a real shame because Alice's and Caddie's coats were beautiful, sleek and soft.
Re: Groomers
Morning Heidrun, how did Caddie's grooming session go? I hope she was OK x
Morning Helen, she has got a few more days of looking like a mop. The appointment is next week.
