Re: Wind! Just discovered this thread - haven't laughed so much in quite some time. Our Bud is becoming rather prone to some pretty lethal flatulence, mainly when he is relaxing. We are looking at changing his main food as we have tried leaving out certain other foodstuffs, and accompaniments to his meals to see if it is related to any of these. Not sure if he is in some way intolerant to chicken or beef that is in his kibble, so i am considering a fish based meal, but my wife wants to try one last brand first that she has positive experiences with in the past with previous dogs (we don't really want to keep changing his diet but we want him to enjoy his food without the after effects!) Bud is certainly in the category of "silent and deadly," but he is too much of a young gent to brag about his talent ;D
Re: Wind! When we first had Willow, she was a farty pants! OMG, it was RANCID! The more raw she gets, the less she does it. I've not actually smelled on in a couple of weeks now. The sad thing is, I can't blame her now if one sneaks out from me
Re: Wind! Pongo's productions have reduced massively since we started giving him a "Dem Bones" treat last thing at night (and if he's been a particularly good boy during they day). He thinks they are even better than Fishcuits, and because they've got charcoal in them they seem to work really well on the old wind problem... He still manages to sneak out the odd killer waft every now and then.
Re: Wind! We have "Dem Bones", but Bud has struggled to really enjoy them. Of all the treats we have introduced him to, these he will leave until as long as possible before eventually eating (in stages). In contrast, the Fishcuits really excite him. A bit of a fussy eater maybe. Not liking the sound Of Pongo's occasional killer waft. Thankfully they are not frequent.

Did you really try to blame poor little Willow for your graceful "movements?" Shameful ;D

Re: Wind! Another vote here for a change of diet - I had a very windy pupster with loose stools until we had a change of food. They firmed up and the wind stopped within days 8) Apart from the time I bought chicken tikka instead of plain chicken for treats, my mistake. She loved it anyway! But oh boy, tikka farts!
