to our friends who have just lost their Westie. He died last week in his sleep of old age. They insisted we bring Lady with us today so she will miss her grumpy friend. He used to terrorise her when she was a pup, but as a grown up dog she called his bluff with the most extraordinary rush and snarl that was quite out of character for the SBD. After that they were best of friends as long as food wasn't involved. ;D Anyway, Lady was smelling really strongly of Labrador dog this morning so I've just deodorised her with some Fox Pooh spray! See you all later.

Re: Just off out to lunch Hope you and Lady enjoy lunch. Sorry to hear about the Westie.
He died last week in his sleep of old age.
That's the most anyone can hope for, though.
Re: Just off out to lunch Sad about your friends - but what a gift, to have your dog die of old age in his sleep. As Julie says.
Re: Just off out to lunch Lunch good -thanks. Lady was an absolute nightmare. Half the trouble of course was she was looking all over for Whiskey, then our friends all made a big fuss of her when she was hyped up with adrenilin, then there was the gin and tonic incident, then the glass of water incident, then the head in the fridge incident, then the nibbles incident. Then the putting firmly in the car for the rest of the afternoon incident. ;D You've got to laugh!
Re: Just off out to lunch Well I guess it took their minds off poor old Whiskey........ The SBD had a plan you know
