Edsel and I will start our first obedience class this Thursday! Very excited to see how things go with lots of new people and pups as distractions. Should be interesting! Lori
Re: First class this week Have fun! I've really enjoyed taking Maisie to puppy class. We've just moved up to the "big girl" class and now have to concentrate a bit harder!! ;D
Re: First class this week Ah go along and just go with the flow,they sometimes aren't the best place for solid learning but are great for meeting other dogs and owners and getting help with the basics to take away and practice. Good luck,let us know how you do x
Re: First class this week Edsel loves a get together for any reason, so I'm sure he'll be in puppy heaven! Mostly looking to give us someplace new to go. I think I bore him to tears some days! :'(
Re: First class this week Classes are great to meet other puppies AND other puppy humans!!! You will have a lot in common. Classes are fun but very distracting, specially if you have a lot of puppies....my two classes had 8 and 10 puppies....but they get to play with each other and have a real good time! Enjoy yourselves, this is yet another experience for your puppy....see how they interact with each other....see it through their eyes.They are puppies for such a sort period of time. Love every minute of it. Have fun.
Re: First class this week Have a great time! I'm taking a puppy class at our dog club at the moment, although there are no Labradors in it It's a lot of fun (and ever so slightly chaotic)
