willows had her first season and husband recons her "boobies" are slightly bigger now, I cant really see a difference, they are still a bit red like where blood has come to the top if you see what I mean. Like blood under the skin this normal?
Re: Boobies after season ! It is normal for nipples to appear redder and more enlarged during a season but they should mostly go back to normal after. How long ago did she finish her season? She could be experiencing a phantom pregnancy, in which case you might want to get her checked by a vet as they can sometimes suffer from mastitis and need some antibiotics, or be producing milk.
Re: Boobies after season ! I agree , my girl suffered a horrendous phantom , she produced milk and needed medication , I would get her checked over if it were me x
Re: Boobies after season ! Many bitches have some degree of 'boob' development or enlargement at the end of a season - its a hormonal thing and is usually mild. It should go down in the next few days. If it persists and she seems miserable or starts leaking milk, have a chat with your vet.
