Planning a short break for the October holidays. Appleby is located between the Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District on the map. OH likes driving more than walking, but looking for ideas of things to do, places to see, walks to meander. Dog Friendly of course. Any members out there with suggestions or recommendations? I see there is at least one dog friendly eatery that in fact has a "Doggy menu" 8)
