Edsel has started to bark, just a couple barks, and not every time, but sometimes when told to sit or lie down. He does both, but will bark with the action. Not sure what has triggered this. He's also started very obnoxious, excited barking when playing fetch or bringing back objects he's found and wants me to launch into the woods. I've read the info on clicker training to stop barking and am working on that for the play induced bark, but trying to decide how to fix the bark that is associated with sit and lie down. Not sure how to separate the bark from the action. Any experience or advice out there? Hope all this bark talk makes sense... ???

Gypsy has started an air 'snap' on the 'upsit' command - not sure what that's about either, maybe it's a protest? 'You just asked me to lie down now you want an upsit?' kind of protest.

    Not sure :-\

I just give the treat when she does it nicely and not when we get an air snap. Hopefully she'll get the message soon.
