Hi everyone, my almost 5 month old black lab puppy Gabby is really teething right now. She has lost some teeth and new ones are coming in so she is chewing constantly. I have two Kongs for her and several Nylabone chews, she also enjoys ice cubes. Are there any suggestions out there for some other types of chew toys for puppies who are getting teeth? I am trying really hard to keep her from chewing my furniture which is difficult! I am sure losing teeth and getting new ones is probably painful for her, but she is still hyper and ready to play all the time! Any suggestions would be great! Thanks all. :)

Edsel liked frozen baby carrots, sort of a change from ice cubes. I also would soak a rope toy in water and freeze it and he would chew on that.

We used a couple of old tea towels knotted, soaked and frozen and Mira chewed on them :D

Have you tried rice bones? I found them quite useful at that stage.

I have a Rosewood Petstages cool teething stick - it is really good and can be frozen, Tatze teethed on it and now it's Gypsy's turn - it's not very big but the material it's made of is really strong.

All the above, plus have you tried the chew deterrant spray (Pets At Home sell it)? It really worked in keeping Pongo off the bits of furniture we wanted to protect.

Boogie, yeah I got that for my pup and there's no tassels left on it now and he's not even teething yet! Think I might try freezing one of his rope toys, that's a great idea.

Another vote for the old tea towel tied in a knot, soaked and then frozen! Penny loved to just suck on it!!
